One line a day · iPhone and Android
The kid you were,
once a day.
A selfie. A younger you. A morning line. The kid you were tells you what you needed to hear, on your Lock Screen or widget.

How it works
Set up in a minute. Hear from them tomorrow morning.
- 01
Take one selfie
Look at the camera. Add a few notes about what you looked like then. That’s all we use.
- 02
Pick the face that’s you
You get four painted portraits of the same kid. Tap the one that feels right. Closest is enough.
- 03
Get one line a day
Every morning the kid leaves you a sentence, on your Lock Screen, before the day starts.
In the app
The line comes to you. The rest is there if you want it.

Say anything
If you want, tell them one thing. A few sentences, not a conversation. Nobody else sees it.

Share the line
Send today’s sentence to a friend as a plain card. The picture never leaves the app.

Time together
Your sits, notes and shared lines, kept quietly. Every visit counts. Missed days don’t.
Why it’s this small
You don’t have to keep up with it.
Nothing to log, nothing to finish, no days to lose. Skip a week and the kid is still there, with no comment about it.

Just the line. And a minute with them, if you want it.
Small, on purpose
Everything it does fits on one screen.
- Sit
- Open the app and just look. You don’t have to say anything. Seeing the kid you were is often enough.
- Lock Screen
- The line sits under the clock, so you read it without unlocking.
- One note a day
- At the time you choose, or never. One line, then it leaves you alone.
- Pin a line
- Found one you need for a while? Pin it until you’re done with it.
- Shuffle tomorrow
- Not the line for you today? Tomorrow gets a different one.
- Just for you
- No other people, no feed. Nobody else sees what you write in Say anything.
- Always marked AI
- The portrait carries an AI label on every screen. It is not a real child.
- Delete everything
- Your selfie, the portrait, and every letter, in one place in Settings.
The words
Written from what you tell them.
Your name, your age then, and what was hard, if you want to say. AI writes your morning lines from that, in the kid’s voice.
Examples only. Your lines will be different. Skip the hard part and you still get them.
Questions
FAQ
What is MiniThen?
A phone app for iPhone and Android. You take one selfie and get a painted portrait of yourself as a kid. Every morning that kid leaves you one line, on your Lock Screen, in a widget, or as a notification.
Who is talking in the line?
The kid you were, talking to you now. “You made it.” “You can rest.” “I like your face now.” AI writes the lines from what you tell it. No advice and no goals.
Do I need a photo of myself as a child?
No. One live selfie and a few notes about what you looked like then. You get four faces and pick the one that feels like you.
What if none of them look like me?
You can pick the closest one and carry on for free. Or start the trial to make a new set of four. The portrait is AI, so think of it as a likeness, not a photograph.
What is free?
The face, the daily line, the widget, the notification, Sit, Share, and your first Say anything. Extra sets of four faces and more Say anything are paid.
What does it cost after that?
A 7-day trial, then $39.99 a year or $6.99 a month. The trial does not start at download. It starts only when you ask for one of the paid things.
Where do my selfie and notes go?
To make your four faces, your selfie and notes go to an image service. Your name, your age then, and what was hard go to an AI service to write your lines, and what you write in Say anything goes there to get a short reply. Share only ever sends the line, never the picture. You can delete all photos and letters in Settings.
Who can use it?
Adults, 18 and over, with their own face only. Not a partner, a parent, a friend, or a child.
What if I’m having a really hard time?
MiniThen is a small daily thing, not medical care. If you write about ending your life, the kid’s voice stops and the app points you to real people: 988 in the US, or local help elsewhere.
Come sit.
One selfie, one face, one line in the morning.
